Blog Editor’s Note: Wednesday’s Federal Register announcement outlined some of the topics that will be discussed at the upcoming US National PNT Advisory Board meeting next month (see below). We can also tell you that included in the list of presentations will be:

  • Professor Todd Humphreys from the University of Texas speaking about how he was able to detect GNSS signal disruption on Earth from the International Space Station, and
  • Dr. Val Parker from NIN Technology speaking on “Non-Inertial Navigation In 21 Century and Beyond.”

RNT Foundation will hold two events for members at the same venue in parallel with this government public meeting:

  • A reception the evening of the 5th of June from 6:30 to 8:00 that will include members of the advisory board,  presenters at the following day’s meeting, and government officials.
  • RNTF’s Annual Meeting and member’s forum the afternoon of the 7th of June.

We encourage all RNTF members to participate in all of these events. If you are not a member, that’s very simple to fix. Just go to https://rntfnd.org/membership/. Hope to see you there!

What Can YOU Do? How Can YOU Help?

PNT is the quiet backbone of everything but too many leaders still don’t see the risk.

But you do. You understand the systems, the dependencies, the failure chains. That insight is rare — and it’s exactly what your country needs right now. Contact your government leaders and industry decision-makers and tell them resilient PNT isn’t a feature — it’s the foundation everything else depends on.
