Who We Are
The Resilient Navigation & Timing (RNT) Foundation is a public benefit, scientific, and educational 501(c)(3) charity that helps protect critical infrastructure by promoting resilient navigation and timing worldwide.
Our Leadership Team
Navigation and timing services are essential to every aspect of our digital age. We believe:
- Navigation and timing services should be recognized and protected as critical infrastructure.
- Enforcement efforts and penalties for interfering with navigation and timing services should be appropriate to the potential harm to persons and economic activity.
- Multiple, resilient sources of wide area and localized navigation and timing are needed for a healthy and balanced “ecosystem.” These sources should have greatly different failure modes making it unlikely a single event could impact all users.
As required by federal regulations and our corporate documents, we:
- Lessen burdens on government.
- Do not support the financial interests of individual or corporate members—they support our mission, not the reverse.
