We have seen a lot of these predictions and rarely report on them. Most of the time not much happens so we tend to wait until after the storm arrives and, if there were noticeable impacts, report on those.

In this case, though, we thought it would be a good idea to share. Dr. Skov is highly respected in the community and a leading authority on this sort of thing.

And besides, if it really is a big deal, we could all be off line for a while.
