Royal Institute of Navigation – Intl Nav Conf Program Published

The Royal Institute of Navigation’s annual International Navigation Conference is unique in both the breadth of navigation issues discussed, and the quality of the program.

The program for this year’s event to be held 19 -21 November in Edinburgh, Scotland, has recently been announced and can be accessed here:

RIN INC 2019 PROGRAMME

Just on the first day there will be plenary presentations by:

  • Prof Terry Moore, The University of Nottingham and President of the Royal Institute of Navigation
  • Prof Shelia Rowan, Chief Scientific Advisor to Scotland
  • Mike Bullock, CEO Northern Lighthouse Board
  • Dana Goward, President, Resilient Navigation and Timing Foundation
  • Dr Miriam Liedvogel, Chair RIN Animal Navigation Group / Max Planck Research Group Leader, Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Biology, and
  • Prof Todd Humphreys – GNSS Radio Frequency Interference Detection from Low Earth Orbit

Breakout tracks on the first day will be:

  • Innovative Navigation Solutions I
  • Resilient PNT I (which will include RNTF Member Roi Mit from Regulus discussing the Tesla spoofing experiment)
  • Animal Navigation, and
  • Innovation in Land Vehicle Navigation

Then it gets even better with a drinks reception in the National Museum of Scotland!
