NASA Administrator, the Honorable James F. Bridenstine, has appointed RNT Foundation President Dana A. Goward to the National Space-Based Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) Advisory Board. This is Goward’s third two-year appointment to this body.

RNT Foundation Chairman, Martin F. Faga, participates on the board as a Subject Matter Expert.

The advisory board operates under the Federal Advisory Committee Act and provides recommendations to the Deputy Secretaries of Defense and Transportation who chair the government’s PNT Executive Committee. Both bodies were established in 2004 by Presidential Directive.

The board meets twice a year and is concluding a meeting today in Alexandria, Virginia. All meetings are open to the public.

Agendas, meeting minutes, presentations, and other information about the board is available at https://www.gps.gov/governance/advisory/

What Can YOU Do? How Can YOU Help?

PNT is the quiet backbone of everything but too many leaders still don't see the risk.

But you do. You understand the systems, the dependencies, the failure chains. That insight is rare — and it's exactly what your country needs right now. Contact your government leaders and industry decision-makers and tell them resilient PNT isn't a feature — it's the foundation everything else depends on.
