In a recent presentation, Septentrio provided an excellent overview of GNSS jamming and spoofing issues.

Of particular interest to us was their discussion of “budget spoofing.” It was a clear explanation of how spoofing GNSS has dropped in price and complexity to where it is almost available at the consumer level.

And, to make the presentation even more effective, they included slides showing how an iPhone6 was easily spoofed into thinking it was atop Mt. Everest.
