This year’s long-standing annual Munich Satellite Navigation Summit was held as the second half of a new Munich Space Summit. We were lucky enough to attend and are glad to report the satnav event has lost none of its focus or impact. There were loads of high quality discussions and presentations.
Most importantly, the mid-event reception in the Kaiserhaal (grand ballroom) of Bavaria’s Residenz Muchen (imperial palace) was retained as a social and networking highlight.
Adding to the evening’s enjoyment, we met a celebrity from Iridium!
The company’s Executive Director for PNT Research and Development, Trevor Landon, was there with his new Iridium ASIC. Trevor began developing the ASIC in 2022. It is now in production and is his pride and joy.
It was great to meet a true PNT celebrity!
We enjoyed meeting Trevor also. 😉
