What’s new: An item about our colleague Ramsey’s comments in Munich and his important reminder to understand ALL the ways GPS impacts your systems, regardless of if you are in aviation, maritime, telecommunications, industrial production, or any other endeavor.
Why it’s important: Clever engineers have incorporated free and highly accurate (but vulnerable) into virtually every facet of modern life. Many of those ways are invisible to most people. They only find out about them when GPS signals are not available.
What else to know: NIST has guidelines to help individuals and organizations assess their use of PNT and vulnerabilities to disruption.
