What’s new: The most recent edition of the Secure World Foundation’s “Global Counterspace Capabilities” report discusses GNSS interference at greater length. It is described as a constant – now just part of the environment.

Why it’s important: This is another confirmation that interference has been normalized. It is something all users, providers, and equipment makers must take into considerations in everything they do.

What else to know: The SWF report used to focus mainly on direct attacks on satellites, kinetic and otherwise. It turns out that attacking signals is easier and can be just as effective. And it doesn’t start a shooting war. At least not right away.

What Can YOU Do? How Can YOU Help?

PNT is the quiet backbone of everything but too many leaders still don’t see the risk.

But you do. You understand the systems, the dependencies, the failure chains. That insight is rare — and it’s exactly what your country needs right now. Contact your government leaders and industry decision-makers and tell them resilient PNT isn’t a feature — it’s the foundation everything else depends on.
