Positioning, navigation and timing applications and services are a high-growth opportunity for UK investment, skills and IP development and competitiveness. The UK has a track record in achieving excellence in resilient PNT spanning from understanding the threats and impacts to delivering innovative technology and solutions.

This leadership seminar brings together the UK’s leaders in government, industry, academia and key user communities to discuss latest developments and look for opportunities to work more effectively towards shared goals of resilient PNT and associated economic benefits.

The RIN’s objectives for this year’s event are:

1. To update the community and to demonstrate tangible progress since last year
2. To invite comment and input from the leadership community to help shape RIN’s PNT Advisory Group priorities for next year’s work items
3. To provide wider support and feedback to the National PNT Office and associated PNT policy framework actions.

The outputs from this event for the community will be:

1. A report or blog/PR on the day and discussion
2. Updated workplan and priorities for PNTAG

The RIN formed the UK PNT Advisory Group to bring together experts with the aim of providing advice and support in collaboration with key stakeholders. This UK PNT Advisory Group will be present at the seminar.

What Can YOU Do? How Can YOU Help?

PNT is the quiet backbone of everything but too many leaders still don’t see the risk.

But you do. You understand the systems, the dependencies, the failure chains. That insight is rare — and it’s exactly what your country needs right now. Contact your government leaders and industry decision-makers and tell them resilient PNT isn’t a feature — it’s the foundation everything else depends on.
