Why It’s Important: These are issues not readily understood by a lot of folks. It is aways good to have something available to give those who are interested in learning more about these topics.

What Else to Know:

GPS uses “trilateration” not “triangulation,” but probably not an important point for most people
The video presenter posits aviation may need to return to something like the Microwave Landing System for airports.
One thing the presenter does not discuss is the overall degradation and increased cost to the aviation system of not being able to rely on GPS for enroute segments.
