“Dutch Pilot’s eDLoran System has been ready for use since the beginning of 2014″

This interesting article discusses the ponderous efforts of the EU to identify a GNSS alternative and compares it with the relatively nimble and rapid efforts of the Dutch pilots’ association implementing a difficult-to-disrupt complementary system.

Note: More information on the Dutch eDLoran system is available in the RNTF on-line library.

Kudos to RNTF members:

Durk Van Willigen who built eDLoran, and

UK GLA for building and providing the eLoran signal in NW Europe

What Can YOU Do? How Can YOU Help?

PNT is the quiet backbone of everything but too many leaders still don't see the risk.

But you do. You understand the systems, the dependencies, the failure chains. That insight is rare — and it's exactly what your country needs right now. Contact your government leaders and industry decision-makers and tell them resilient PNT isn't a feature — it's the foundation everything else depends on.
