Over one billion people across the world use the Global Positioning System (GPS) to find out where they are, what is around them, and to go from place to place. GPS has made every mode of transportation safer, faster, and less costly.
Yet GPS and other Global Navigation Satellite Service (GNSS) signals are threatened by accidental and intentional disruption, proposals that could legalize some forms of interference, and users who do not have the kind of receivers and equipment they should.
The RNT Foundation is working to safeguard GPS services by advocating policies and systems to Protect, Toughen, and Augment them.
